Programme Overview:
The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic resulted in unprecedented disruption to workplaces across Ireland. For many businesses, it forced an immediate shutdown of work. Although we do not have exact timings for our return to work, it is vital for companies to prepare for the eventual and likely gradual return to work.

This half day course will explore the various issues likely to be faced by employers planning a return to work, such as employee communications, managing the transition back to work, health & safety matters, performance management, absence management or the role of line managers,

Approach
The programme is delivered on line by experienced Ibec Executives who provide members with advice, consultancy and training on a daily basis. Programme participants are encouraged to express their views and experiences. The programme facilitates participant discussion to ensure a thorough understanding of the key points and their application. Practical tips are also given in terms of managing a return to work following a shutdown.
